The Devil Went Down to Georgia...To Retire

I remember way back in the day when the Charlie Daniel's Band came out with "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". It was 1979. My friends and I were very disappointed by the outcome. The devil definitely won that showdown. Did you hear those screaming guitars and punishing bass lines?!?! The devil kicked ass!!! We wanted a recount!

Fast forward about 26 years. I heard that song on the radio and I was tapping my foot to "Chicken in a bread pan, picking out dough". I guess Johnny won fair and square.
